Daytime classes are scheduled to begin on Monday September 9, 2024.
This is subject to change based on registration, funding and availability.
Registration is now open for classes.
Please note that due to HIGH demand MANY of our classes are already at CAPACITY!
There is a 2 week turnover to process registration requests for LINC & ESL classes.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Due to high demand students are asked to register for only 1 class (morning, afternoon or night) as we have long waiting lists. Students MUST be able to attend 100% of the time as we will be enforcing our attendance policy. We do not have part-time day classes. All classes are 5 days/week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday.
Please check the school locations below for a list of which classes are available BEFORE you complete the Registration Form.
ATTENDANCE POLICY:- students must to be able to attend class 100% of the time, attending all classes during the scheduled time
- students cannot take time off for any reason and risk being removed from the class if the Attendance Policy is not met
- students who only want to attend part-time classes or need a flexible schedule are asked to contact the ACHEV Assessment Centre for a list of schools at 1-855-330-8655.
Ajax Welcome Centre Immigrant Services - 458 Fairall Street, Ajax ON
The school is located inside the Ajax Welcome Centre UNIT 5 at the north-east corner of Fairall Street and Westney Road.
Enter through the Fairall Street doors at South Reception or drive through the parking lot to the back of the building and enter through the North Reception doors.

Ajax Continuing Education Centre - 458 Fairall Street, Ajax ON
The school is located inside the Archbishop Anthony Meagher Continuing Education Center UNIT 7 at the north-east corner of Fairall Street and Westney Road.
Enter the parking lot and the school is on the west side of the building next to AYA Kitchens.

Whitby Language Center - 1003 Giffard Street, Whitby ON
The school is located near the corner of Dundas Street (Highway 2) and Cochrane Street in Whitby, on Giffard Street between St John the Evangelist Church and St John the Evangelist Elementary School. Enter the church parking lot and you will see the school on the right side.

ONLINE/HYBRID Day classes will be offered Monday to Friday and will be a combination of ONLINE and IN-PERSON classes. Students must have WiFi at home and a computer or laptop to participate and MUST have knowledge of how to use a computer. Students MUST LIVE in Durham Region and must be able to attend In-Person 1-2 days each month at our Whitby Location (1003 Giffard Street).

Night School - PROPOSED Start Date November 5, 2024
Registration will open on Monday August 26, 2024.
Interested students will be put on a waiting list and contacted by email in early October with details.
Night classes will ONLY be offered HYBRID/ONLINE.
Students will participate ONLINE and MUST attend 1 scheduled NIGHT session each month at the Ajax Welcome Centre (458 Fairall Street, Ajax ON).
You must LIVE in Durham and have a COMPUTER or LAPTOP to participate.
