Adult Dual Credit Program

Prepare for college by taking a free college course with a Durham college instructor.

Course Options

October 29 - December 20, 2024 - Stress, Wellness and Nutrition

May 6 - June 27, 2024 - Global Cuisine or Trade Fundamentals (TBD)

Format

Classes will take place two days/week on the Durham College Campus.  Students must be registered in at least one other credit course or program in order to participate.  

Program Details

  • Students can earn a credit toward their high school diploma and a college credit on a college transcript, free of charge.
  • Students are taught by a Durham College Instructor and supported by a teacher from Archbishop Anthony Meagher CCEC.
  • To qualify, students must be registered in a credit program with Adult and Continuing Education, and be working toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

 

University Pathway

Flexible options are available for students who cannot attend Adult Day classes or who require University preparation courses.  Classes are available though:

Students who would like to earn their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and/or prepare for a health care related post-secondary program can book an appointment to discuss a plan to meet the diploma requirements.
