Microsoft Office Specialist Training Program (MOS) 
2024-25 School Year

Fall/Winter Session 2024: BTA3O  - NOW CLOSED FOR REGISTRATION

Dates: September 30, 2024 - January 13, 2025

Times: Mondays and Wednesdays (5:30 - 9:00 p.m.)

Note: There will be no classes October 14 or during the Christmas Break

Location: All Saints CSS

Winter/Spring Session 2025: BDP3O

Dates: February 19 - June 2, 2025

Times: Mondays and Wednesdays (5:30 - 9:00 p.m.)

There will be no classes on March Break (March 10 and 12), Easter Monday (April 21) or Victoria Day (May 19).

 

Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Training:

  • Microsoft Word (Core), Microsoft Word (Expert)
  • Microsoft Excel (Core) Microsoft Excel (Expert)  
  • Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Access

** You can choose the areas of Microsoft Office that you would like to work on. 
** Work at your own pace with support from a qualified instructor.

1020 Dryden Blvd., Whitby

Program:

  • Preparation for Microsoft Office Certification
  • All courses are hands-on with support from an instructor
  • Students can download MS Office for home practice
  • Students can earn credits toward OSSD while working on Microsoft Office Certification Training
  • Students are asked to inform the school if they intend to write the Microsoft certification exam
  • Students must be 18 years of age or older

Material Fees:

Electronic OR Hardcopy support materials: $45 each

Microsoft Office Exam Certification: For students who would like to write the Microsoft Office exam for certification, there is a cost for the exam process.

  • Durham Catholic District School Board reserves the right to close any class. If a class is closed or cancelled because minimum enrolment is not met, a full refund will be given.
  • Any books or materials issued to students will be deducted from the overall program cost.
  • Personal cheques are not accepted.
